There are two ways to join the iROCK staff and listeners in live chat:
1) Use your IRC Client Program
- point your software to this server: irc.knightirc.net on port 6667
- join us in chatroom #irock109
- if you need an IRC program, we recommend using mIRC
2) Use our own Java software tool
- just click
 to start the program
- a new window will open up
- depending on your security settings, you may get prompted to accept the java tool

Chat Room Etiquette
- No offensive discussion - if you wouldn't say it standing in a crowd of people it has no place here. Profanity, racial comments, etc.
- Do not ask for "asl" information - this is not a singles bar - we're here to talk about music.
- If you want a private message with someone (PM), please ask them first.
- No bots, No scripts - without the OK. These things tend to bother and annoy people. Some are very useful ... just get the OK first.
- Typing in ALL CAPS can be taken as screaming. A single word shows EMPHASIS, but an entire sentence of CAPS is seen as yelling.
- Pinging, whois, etc - just as annoying, so be courteous. You wouldn't walk into a room of strangers and poke people in the ribs, right? "Do unto others..." etc.
- Promotion of other radio stations isn't allowed. Discussion is fine, but you are joining a chat room for an internet radio station, so please use common courtesy and be aware of where you are.
- Anyone marked with a @ or a ! in front of their name is a member of staff...just ask one of them if you have any questions - we're glad to help.
